HELP Program

The HELP Program (Heal and Eradicate Lingering Poverty) provides urgent, one-time financial assistance to women at risk of homelessness. This program is a critical resource for Healing Vine Harbor participants facing unexpected crises that could jeopardize their housing, employment, or basic stability.

Empowering Women Through Life’s Challenges

HELP steps in with fast, compassionate support—preventing eviction, utility shut-offs, and unsafe living situations. By addressing immediate needs like rental assistance, food, transportation, and household essentials, we help women stay on track during vulnerable times.

Support may include:

  • Emergency rental or utility payments to prevent eviction or disconnection

  • Gas or transportation assistance to maintain employment or relocate

  • Cell phone support to ensure job readiness and communication

  • Temporary housing placement in unsafe or transitional situations

  • Connections to additional community resources and wraparound services

Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved payments are made directly to third-party vendors (e.g., landlords or utility providers). All applicants must submit complete documentation to be considered.

Through the HELP Program, we keep women housed, connected, and moving forward.
