About Healing Vine Harbor
Empowering Women to Build Brighter Futures
Our Mission
To reduce the number of single women living in shelters or unsafe situations by providing a pathway out of poverty and equipping them with the skills necessary for self-sufficiency.
Our Vision
We envision a community where women are prepared to navigate life, access resources equitably, and be self-reliant.
Our History
Healing Vine Harbor, Inc. (HVH) was founded in 2013 by Tracey Questell in response to the critical need for support services for women experiencing housing instability. Drawing from her academic background in Psychology and Rehabilitation Counseling, and her mentorship experiences with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Tracey built HVH to address both immediate needs and long-term empowerment.
Since its founding, HVH has grown into a multi-service nonprofit assisting more than 300+ women annually across Charlotte and surrounding communities.
